Synthesizer Awards. 

The Synthesizer Awards honors artists, community leaders, educators, organizations, and companies that have allowed us to better produce new theatrical pieces.

Amanda Eachaus - Hershey Public Library

Jasmine Ammons Bucher - Hershey Area Playhouse
Jasmine Ammons Bucher is a vocalist, director, producer, and Hershey Area Playhouse board member. Bucher is an instructor and director of educational technology at Lebanon Valley College. She holds a BA in English and an MBA from Lebanon Valley College, as well as an MA in humanities from the Pennsylvania State University. She received an Honorable Mention for the 2018 Tony Award for Excellence in Theatre Education. This is her fourteenth year directing productions at Palmyra Area High School, where she is president of the Palmyra Theatre Boosters and troupe director for International Thespian Society Troupe #8430. She has participated in master classes with Broadway’s Jenn Collela, Lynn Ahrens, Stephen Flaherty, Tom Kitt, Lea Salonga, Morgan James, and Alex Newell.

Pastor Beth Rogers - Hummelstown United Church of Christ 
Born and raised outside Portland, Oregon, Pastor Beth Rogers has always felt a strong call to build relationships in the community. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Oregon in 2003 and after several years working with afterschool youth programs, she completed a Masters in Divinity from Pacific School of Religion in 2011. She has been in pastoral ministry since 2014. Her areas of focus have been on creating new worship styles, youth engagement, children’s religious education, and crafting small relational groups. She has deep ties to caring for creation through outdoor ministry and developing intergenerational relationships.

Austin, Julie, Jess - Pocket Books Shop
Pocket Books Shop is an eclectic feminist bookstore located in Lancaster, PA, and operated by three individuals with a passion for great literature. Austin is a Lancaster County native who has a love of soft pretzels and Wilbur buds. Julie is a voracious reader who has a love of mysteries and coffee. Jess is a Romance expert and has the best LGBTQ+ recs.
